2010 Summer Seminar: July 18-21
2010 Summer Seminar is July 18-21
Please join us this summer for the ITE Georgia Section's annual Summer Seminar. This year's seminar will again be held at the King & Prince Beach & Golf Resort on St. Simons Island from Sunday, July 18th through Wednesday, July 21st.
We are continuing our commitment to make the Georgia ITE Summer Seminar the best local transportation conference in America. Not only is it packed full of great technical information, but it is a great environment to enjoy time with your colleagues and family in a phenomenal setting. Of course, ITE members and their guests are always welcome, but members of other transportation-focused organizations such as WTS, ASCE, ASHE, GPA and others are invited as well.
The Host Committee will be in the lobby of the King & Prince from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, July 18th for registration. Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, a Sunday evening welcome reception for all registered attendees and guests will be held in the Lanier Ballroom at 6:00 p.m. Registration will resume at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, July 19th.
The Jimmy Roper Classic Golf Tournament will be played on Sunday at the Oak Grove Golf Course. The Tennis Tournament will be played on Sunday and Monday, like last year, and will begin at 2:00 p.m. The new Island Bike Tour will take place on Monday evening. Our annual 5k Run/Walk starts on Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. -- get that highly coveted T-shirt!
Exciting activities have been scheduled by our Spouse/Guest Activities Committee and include our annual bowling tournament, a dolphin tour around St. Simons Island, a sandcastle building competition, an arts & crafts session, and beach volleyball.
