First, the Georgia ITE Board of Directors nominations for 2021 are officially open. Please read below and fill out THIS SURVEY with your nomination by October 14, 2020.
The rescheduled 2020 Technical Exchange with South Carolina ITE has been offically set for Friday, October 23, 2020. Our format is a bit different this year as it has also gone virtual. For more information, please read below.
The 2020 October Monthly Georgia ITE Webinar is set for Wednesday, October 28 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm EDT. This month we are holding the meeting joint with ITS Georgia on Electic Vehicles. The event will be streamed live via the ITS Georgia YouTube Channel. This webinar is not exclusive to Georgia participants, so please feel free to let others know of the PDH opportunity. Are you a Young Member? Are you interested in having a spotlight presentation for the November monthly meeting? For the November monthly webinar, we have five available slots for a young member of the Georgia Section to present on some of the interesting work they have done since leaving school and joining the workforce. If you have a young member you want to nominate (or want to nominate yourself), please complete THIS SURVEY.
Last but certainly not least, the 2021 Winter Workshop chairs are looking for volunteers to help plan and coordinate the event. Remember that Georgia ITE is a fully volunteer organization. Our events are made great by our member volunteers. Please see below or Click Here for more information.

This month’s webinar will feature a panel presentation from the above subject matter experts and discussion on electric vehicle trends across the nation and in Georgia. The discussion will focus on the following issues: consumer demand, auto manufacturer production, charging infrastructure, implications on the built environment and associated policy/regulatory implications, and the role of electrification in the world of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Nominations for 2021 Georgia ITE Board of Directors are Now Open! Georgia ITE is a volunteer organization that is led by a Board of Directors. Each year the Board has open nominations for anywhere between 3-5 offices. This year is a little different in that we have also undergone a Board reconfiguration due to the OneITE initiative. Please use THIS LINK to submit your nominations for the open offices for 2021 which include: President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer, Section Representative to Southern District, and At-Large Board Member. Please note that you must be a ITE member to nominate someone for office and the person who is being nominated must be an ITE member to serve in office.

The 2020 Joint Georgia and South Carolina ITE Technical Exchange is back and scheduled for Friday, October 23 from 12:00pm to 1:30pm EDT. This year's format is a bit different as it will be held virtually. This will be a more limited Technical Exchange then previous years and will include a social event on the 22nd and the exhcange on the 23rd over lunch. Additional details will be posted soon about the speakers, topics and the corresponding social event. Please CLICK HERE for more information and to register.
