2026 Summer Seminar
Join us for the 2026 ITE Georgia Section Summer Seminar at the King and Prince Beach & Golf Resort on St. Simons Island, taking place Sunday through Wednesday, July 19-22, 2026.
This year's theme, "Teamwork Makes the Dream Work", highlights the collaboration, partnerships and shared expertise that drive successful transportation solutions across our communities. Our keynote speaker will be Andrew Heath, PE, Deputy Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Transportation!
Conference Registration: Opening early May. Additional details will be available on the Summer Seminar page on GA ITE website starting next week.
Rooms: We hope you'll join us and stay on site at the King and Prince! Rooms are still available but are booking up quickly: GA ITE Room Block (it only takes a minute to complete). Additionally, the resort is available via 912-638-3631 to book.

The goal of the Summer Seminar is to develop a comprehensive technical program that reflects both traditional transportation practices and innovative approaches, with an emphasis on collaboration across agencies, disciplines, and communities. Focus areas include:

If you have a topic you would like to present, please click the link to submit an abstract.
Abstracts are by Friday, April 24, 2026. The Technical Program Committee will review all abstracts, and selected presenters will be notified by Friday, May 1, 2026.
