2026 Award Nominations - Last Call

Last call for the nominations for the selected awards below! The nomination window will end at noon Monday, November 9, and winners will be announced on December 11 at the Annual Meeting.

Georgia Section Agency Achievement Award (ITE Georgia - Georgia Section Agency Achievement Award). To be presented to an agency which has distinguished itself through improvements in the field of transportation.

The John D. Edwards, Jr. Individual Achievement Award (ITE Georgia - Individual Achievement Award). To be presented to a Georgia Section Member who has unselfishly given his/her time and talents to the advancement of the Georgia Section during the previous twelve (12) months.

Transportation Professional of the Year (ITE Georgia - Transportation Professional of the Year Award). To be presented to the transportation professional who has contributed substantially to the safe and efficient movement of people or goods in Georgia. 

The Karl Bevins Distinguished Service Award (ITE Georgia - Distinguished Service Award). Recipients of this award shall have demonstrated the qualities of competence, professionalism and dedication exemplified by Karl Bevins as the first Traffic Operations Engineer in Georgia.

Georgia Section Idea Sharing Award (ITE Georgia - Idea Sharing Award). To be presented to a Georgia Section ITE Member who presented the most noteworthy transportation innovation.
